We have an arboretum in our city, with lots of different flowers and some trails for walking. They do music in the park on Sunday evenings, weddings, parties ~ a mixture of everything. My daughter is 10, so that means we’ve been going every year for the past 8 years. Heck, her father and I even got married there back in 2015. The girls have always loved the fish. We went the other day – and we weren’t even there for probably 5 minutes, and the youngest gets stung by a sweat bee. I think we were only feeding the fish for maybe 10 minutes tops, then we were back in the car. I feel like I’m at a point where if I want to go feed the fish, I’d be better off going on my own. Preteen and teenager years are rough.
The arboretum does provide bags of food for $1, and it does go for a good cause. It used to bring the girls so much joy – until this year. Lol.
Do you have an arboretum with flowers and koi fish (carp), that can be fed? I’d love to hear all about it, if so ❤️
