A few weeks back, I took the girls to our lovely painting studio, which offers a variety of things besides just painting. They offer string art, stencil/painting of signs, mosaic tiles like my elephant above, canvas painting, candle making, wreaths- so much stuff. It’s literally my favorite place to be outside of home. And these mosiacs, they were fun. They tested my strength and patience with having to cut the tiles for our wants. And let me tell you, my stepdaughter wanted some pretty darn tiny pieces. But it was worth it. That’s the purpose of this post. Even when things seem hard, or demanding, or costly, if it’s time spent with your kids and they’re having fun and enjoying what they are doing – and better yet; they want to be doing it with you. Then do it. Don’t complain. Snap the pics if you’re able too; discreetly. But if not that’s okay too. Because not all the moments require pictures. Just presence. That’s what I always want my girls to remember, especially my baby girl. Mom was always present for everything that I could be. 💓 it’s okay to step outside of your comfort zone as well; try new things. Embrace changes and challenges, and just always hope for the best with an open mind. One day at a time.
